Today I had the privilege to visit the Amelia Island Concour D'Elegance in Amilia Island Florida this weekend. My Brother Jim has a condo in town and my boys (Josh, Tommy and Parker) and I decided to catch some cheap flights down to spend the weekend with him and visit the show. Here are some pictures of the "Cars & Caffeine" Saturday car show. Tomorrow is the main event and I can't even imagine the level of cars that will be here after what I have seen today.
Today there were over 300 cars that were required to submit photos and descriptions to gain the "curated" status to be allowed to enter.
Towards the end you will see the "Lemon Cars" which were located across the street on the back nine of the golf course and although the were called "Lemon Cars" there were still many awesome cars and people and quite honestly some funny entries. Here are some pictures from the day and I hope you enjoy them.
My brothers corvette actually a 1965. My apologies for misspeaking.
We are finally coming out of winter, and I personally can't wait to get to my garden. I am way behind, but I know I will get things up and running quickly. I plant my snow peas right around St. Patrick's day and start other seedlings around that time, too.

Events
We have quite a few fun activities available within the next couple months, and we are really excited about this one.
NJ Sharing Network 5K
The NJ Sharing Network 5K walk/run coming again this May 15th. As many of you know, our family is very committed to organ donation awareness. We have five living kidney donors in our immediate family, two kidney transplant recipients, and one bone marrow recipient.
“NJ Sharing Network is the non-profit organization responsible for the recovery and placement of donated organs and tissue for those in need of a life-saving transplant. Nearly 4,000 New Jersey residents are currently awaiting transplantation.”
Many of you became team members last year and many contributed. Currently, our goal is to raise $5,000. We had a great team two years ago, and due to COVID, we did not participate last year. I really want to grow it this year, so please consider joining. I personally want to see a sea of green “Organ-izers” shirts walking together, and I already know we will have a good field of runners, too. If you can't walk or run with us, a simple contribution to one of our team members would be really appreciated.
Please forward this to friends and family as all are welcome.
We have been using a digital vehicle inspection system for over four years now, and our customers love it. Your VHR will be emailed and texted to you for review once completed. This is a great way for us to explain to you about your vehicle's service needs
Our VHR include photographs and videos to help demonstrate issues without you ever coming in the shop

Fun Facts
Fact: The Pope can’t be an organ donor
Pope Benedict XVI was issued an organ donor card in 1970. Once he ascended to the papacy in 2005, the card was invalid, reports the Telegraph. According to the Vatican, the Pope’s entire body must be buried intact because his body belongs to the universal Catholic Church.
Fact: Albert Einstein’s eyeballs are in New York City
They were given to Henry Abrams and preserved in a safety deposit box. Abrams was Einstein’s eye doctor. He received the eyeballs from Thomas Harvey, the man who performed the autopsy on Einstein and illegally took the scientist’s brain for himself.
Fact: Wimbledon tennis balls are kept at 68 degrees Fahrenheit
The temperature of tennis balls affects how the ball bounces. At warmer temperatures, the gas molecules inside the ball expand making the ball bounce higher. A tennis ball at lower temperatures causes the molecules to shrink and the ball bounces lower. To make sure the best tennis balls are used, Wimbledon goes through over 50,000 tennis balls.
Fact: Bees can make colored honey
In France, there’s a biogas plant that manages waste from a Mars chocolate factory, where M&Ms are made. Beekeepers nearby noticed that their bees were making “unnatural shades of green and blue” honey, reported BBC.
Fact: Bananas glow blue under black lights
To the everyday eye under normal conditions, ripe bananas appear yellow due to organic pigments called carotenoids. When bananas ripen, chlorophyll begins to break down. This pigment is the element that makes bananas glow, or “fluoresce,” under UV lights and appear blue.
Fact: Johnny Appleseed’s fruits weren’t for eating
Yes, there was a real John Chapman who planted thousands of apple trees on U.S. soil. But the apples on those trees were much more bitter than the ones you’d find in the supermarket today. “Johnny Appleseed” didn’t expect his fruits to be eaten whole, but rather made into hard apple cider.
Fact: Peanuts aren’t technically nuts
They’re legumes. According to Merriam-Webster, a nut is only a nut if it’s “a hard-shelled dry fruit or seed with a separable rind or shell and interior kernel.” That means walnuts, almonds, cashews, and pistachios aren’t nuts either. They’re seeds.
